At FAST FUN JAPAN snow sports / Niseko tours, we believe that the best way to enjoy the legendary powder in Niseko is with an instructor or guide dedicated to making the experience all about you.

We offer powder tours for you and your friends to get you closer to nature and the beautiful white carpets that the mountain have to offer.

We offer our tours to groups of a minimum of 4 people and a maximum of 7 people. Safaris are for a minimum of 2 people. It is advised that you have a minimum level of health and fitness to attend these tours.

To be able to receive a quality tour, we have selected internationally certified instructors or guides whose knowledge of snow sports is of a high standard and are eager to take you safely through the resort.

Backcountry tours

backcountry tours operate outside of the ski area’s boundary and with it being a venturesome activity, the ski resort rules do not apply once you cross the ski area boundaries. These tours weed the intermediates from the hardcore powder hounds by going out of bounds and ultimately stepping up the adventure.

With this custom designed tour you will build your awareness in large mountain territory, enhance your safety knowledge and have access to the extravagant runs that the area has to offer. You will have a mountain guide who will share valuable techniques to sharpen your skills and design the tour to suit you. You can travel at your own pace and will receive the full benefit of a hand crafted private tour, as well as having unique access to a local guide whose knowledge of the mountain is exceptional.

Snowshoeing tours

Snowshoeing tours are leisurely tours for hikers and lovers of the outdoors who want to continue their hobby in wintertime or just want to explore the nature around.

Snowsports safaris

Snow sports safaris are group tours designed to show you the wonderful resort of Mt. Niseko Annupuri. This tour is to get you more comfortable when going out there by yourself or with your family.

Knowing where you are, and knowing exactly where you go can be a big difference after this tour, and might make you more confident in not getting lost or trigger you to exploring some spots by yourself.

We have Japanese instructors, internationally certified instructors and guides whose knowledge of the area is unparalleled.
This tour is for people with a great interest in the area and wanting to ask questions about anything to make their stay in Niseko Hirafu even more convenient. Your instructor or guide can also tell you about the best bars and onsens to relax in, all while exploring the great runs and terrains of Mt. Niseko Annupuri to the fullest.

Important! — FAST FUN JAPAN snow sports asks all participants to be at the compulsory meeting the day before the official tour takes place, which involves our local guide going over your skills and ability.  During this session your guide will make sure how to use avalanche equipment, getting the last snow and weather conditions and you will be taught how to stay safe.

Following gear will be provided; transceiver, probe, snow shovel and snowshoes.

Examples of tours can be: back bowls of Mt. Niseko Annupuri, Mt. Yotei, Back bowls of Mt. Rusutsu, etc

Important! — Backcountry tours will depend on snow, weather conditions and the time of the season where the last decision lays with the guide to ensure your safety and happiness as a priority no.1!

What to bring

– Snow sports material and skins

Prerequisites

– Minimum level 5 snow sports ability and above
– Minimum age is 16+ yrs old
– For any snow sporter with a good level of fitness (Hiking will take place!)
– Ready to go: have your own snow sports gear ready and in good condition
– Having completely filled out, signed the “Agreement for participation” and paid the full amount due before the start of the lesson.

In order to allocated a guide most suitable to your level of experience, please self-assess your snow sports level using the ability chart and indicate it when you make your booking: Check the FAST FUN JAPAN ability chart

Important notice:

This tour requires a minimum of 4 people, when this minimum is not reached you will be kindly asked to pay the difference divided over the existing participants until the minimum total is ¥50 000.
